red930 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I won't believe any information about when a product will hypothetically be available until the product is physically present in e-tailors inventory for purchase.
red930 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Damn, not a Tuesday! Oh well! I would have found that pretty funny... drka0tic Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 as long as i can purchase them off eVGA site before March26th, I'll be very very....VERY happy. 90-days step-up program for my 7800GT  That's exactly what I plan to do. I got my 7800GT on 01/09 from NewEgg @ $300. I just checked an the have it for $250 after $20 MIR, IMO the best bang for the buck out right now. So nVidia has til April 9 to lower the price on the 7800GTX, or even better introduce a 7900GT for $300  I can't wait.
Redbeaver Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 i just need the GT available on eVGA site (isnt that the only place u can get step-up?), the 7900GT that is....... its probably gonna be around $400, but dude, for a "mere" $100....... heck i'll go for it. but if even teh GT is around $500, i dunno....... probably not then. drka0tic Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Yeah, I think the eVGA site is the only place you can trade-up. Only thing that sux is that your stuck having to pay the MSRP I think. We'll see.

p0tter Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 EVGA prices are insane, my step ended last month... I had to debay my 6800GT very quick when I saw the 7800GT prices, got lucky and got $290 for it and paid $290 + COD2 for my 7800GT. red930 Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I'll end-up buying one once they are released. I opted not to get the 512Mb 7800s because the performance wasn't that great in the games I play.
