ajtyeh Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I have the DFI NF4 Ultra-D 939 motherboard. I also am using the onboard krajan sound chip/card. I have a 5.1 surround logitech z5300 speakers. I am using the drivers that came on the dfi cd. the sound works fine for my speakers............... problem is... it splits up my sound when im trying to use headphones for my counter stike i havent been albe to scrim properly ever since upgrading to this board. like in the game i hear only hear very loudly whats to the left and right but not to the front, or if i plug it into a different output i only hear front and rear. i konw the obvious solution is to go into nv mixer and tell it i am using headphoesn but this does not solve the problem. PLEASE HELP

DFIChriZ Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 If you have enabled the Karajan audio module you should use the drivers from realtek. why not try to download the latest drivers from: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dlac97...8&Software=True
LDog69 Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Are you using the headphone jack on your speakers (the Logitechs)?
ajtyeh Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 no i have a splitter i bouhgt from radio shack on the green jack, so my headset is plugged into the splitter and so is the speakers. so maybe the key is to plug my headset into the headphone port on the volumn control for the speakers. ima try that right now, but even if that solves things, my biggest problem is now that my headset (the MIC) is not plugged in, and wont reach. _Albert

Reinvented Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 You should reconfigure your configuration through either headphones or speakers. You can't use both, as it will have a hard time trying to distinguish which playback device to use. Download nvMixer and configure it from there.
