DMM? Never heard of that one before.

It's 1.3 according to my BIOS, SmartGuardian + CPUZ

DMM = Digital multimeter

Yeah, I see no use to get one of those when I'd only use it to verify the voltage of my CPU when BIOS/CPUZ/SmartGuardian all confirm the 1.3v

BIOS and software don't read the voltage correctly. Just because they all read 1.3v doesn't mean it is in fact 1.3v, in fact it probably means it is higher than 1.3v. If you just have the Vcore set to auto then thats 1.350, which is going to be pretty much the exact real voltage. (From my experience with my DMM what is set in the BIOS is almost exact, though it does go up slightly under load).

What stepping you got there?

Interested, as I'm looking for an opty 165 or 170 right now.

cpu-z usually read 0.03v lower than the BIOS reading, but still that's insanely low.

But is it stable?

Awesome stuff anyway.

You don't know the rest of it do you?

Anyway, the opteron I'm looking at now, from a reliable guy on ebay (his own cpu, not mass selling them)

The stepping is:

OSA165DAA6CD

CCBWE 0551UPMW

139297AL50735

***

From what I've read around that's a pretty good stepping. Can anyone confirm?
