ajtyeh Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 This is the dealio. Had a Cabge 3700+ sd. Couldnt get it stable above 2.65ghz i bought a thermaltake typhoon, and i felt it was a waste caasue my temps were so low but i couldnt overclock anymore. so i listed my 3700 on ebay. now i need a new processor so around 200-250 what should i get?????? I have a DFI - Ultra -D NF4 GSkill 2gb Kit DDR500 PC4000 Thermaltake Typhoon 36gb WD Raptor. I see on Ewiz the AMD 3700 OEM is going for 199+shipping. Are oem chips bad? Or should i go for opterons here. Please HELP

Smoken Joe Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 some are great overclockers but it is a roll of the dice but few real loosers even at stock they run fast and cool. The big question for me would be dual core or singal core. Right now my vote would be for dual core unless mony is tight. Even though the singals overclock better most of the time.
