Purelief Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I think i got it figured out.. all the devices are usb 1.0 devices Logitech G15 keyboard Logitech MX 518 mouse Creative nx pro web cam Plantronics DSP-400 headset Without the webcam and the headset trying to get bandwidth its sitting at 30% bandwidth in use the webcam uses 60 and the headset wants 8 percent its a no go.. So my question is if i upped to the DFI sli dr expert would i still have this problem..
Atef2k Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 So my question is if i upped to the DFI sli dr expert would i still have this problem.. I have the same problem with my Expert mobo, I have the G15 keyboard and on the 2 usb ports of the G15 I'm connecting the G7 mouse on one and the Logitech messenger camera on the other, on the back of the computer there's 6 USB ports, my DSL modem is connected to one and the G15 to another port, the problem comes when I start my camera, it says the camera needs 30% of the bandwidth while the modem is taking 57% and there are 10% and 30% reserved for the system (for what I don't know), are all the USB ports at the back on one controller? do the 6 of them use the same bandwidth, I never had this problem with my old PC and I was connecting 8 USB devices to it. So I would answer you that the Expert is no different than yours...
