I would assume this 'hypothetical' situation is not hypothetical at all, but a real event.

 

You shouldn't even need to ask 'what's the right thing to do'.

 

My suggestion:

 

1. Either do as Angry says and get NewEgg to cross-ship you the proper PSU, or

 

2. Pay the difference for the PowerStream 600 and have NewEgg update the invoice to reflect it.

hypothetically (and you wouldn't ask such a hypothetical question unless it happened to you or someone you know) you should do the right thing as when you don't, it is just like needless RMA's...they end up costing consumers (us) more in the long run

 

being dishonest is not only bad for business, but it is bad for you...who wants to be dishonest? I don't. ;)

Wow what happened to you! Some days ago, you wrote something about fulfilling your slacker quota for the month by trolling these forums! Oh, maybe you’ve got some stocks in the company? :D
