right, so i installed windows on a freshly formatted hard drive last night all was going well copied files until it stoped and said could not install file, whatever so i quiet installation and and put in another windows disk, but it said when booting up, 'WINDOWS IS MISSING NTLDR' so i restarted loads of times, then found i could re-install if i enabled the raid uttility so great i was happy, after the installaion, it rebooted, but after the boot up, the screen went blank, and it said could not load windows because or hardware config. now ive disabled the raid uttility, and put the first boot drive as cd so it will load windows, yet no joy, please please please,

You may get a better response if you post this in a section that deals with your motherboard.

 

You don't mention any problem with the bios and this being the bios section I doubt you will really get the info you need.
