rebelangel Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 as5 isn't a adhesive so the ramsink could just fall of
Doomz Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I think use the adhesive as I cant see how else you can attach the heatink. I also have eight little heatsinks leftover from a Zalman VF-700 with adhesive sticky on them. I was thinking about doing that but im not even sure where to put them. Is the PWMIC the three chips that have R60 printed on them? Some people have said that it makes a difference and others have said the chips dont get hot. EdLSmith Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Just put some air on the area. That will take care ot it and your RAM. Chipset Mod
Doomz Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I just looked and found this. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...740&postcount=2 It says that the PWMIC chip is the rectangular chip next to the mainboard power plug.
