Guest FZ1 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Michelle Rodriguez (aka Ana-Lucia Cortez) is Done... http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/2006/...ez-is-done.html After being arrested for drunk driving and other "diva-like behavior" she is getting booted from the show. The producers are fed up with the fact that she barely shows up on the set and is always in a bad mood," Us Weekly quoted an "insider" as saying. "They said she was getting killed off as soon as they could write it in." LOL. This is my favorite part... Lost is my regular prostitute's favorite show of all time. She obsesses over it pretty much every time she comes over, trying to figure out what exactly is on the island and why the survivors are there. It's hard to understand her with her mouth full, but I don't have money to waste on conversations about the mysteries of the hatch so I try to limit our conversation to key words like "faster" and "concentrate". The point of this look into my exciting life is that Michelle Rodriguez never comes up in these conversations. Why? Not because Michelle looks like a man, but because her character on the show really isn't that important. Maybe she should have thought of that before she threw a hissy fit when wardrobe didn't iron her boxers in that extra special way, or when she decided it was a good idea to go plowing through the streets of Honolulu too drunk to stand. Angry_Games Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 does anyone actually watch any of the crap on network television anymore???

Angry_Games Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 the only network tv I watch is when NHL is on NBC other than that...I think it is loaded with nothing but mind-numbing, mind-wasting, useless crap...how many forensic pathologist shows do we need? How many Law and Order shows do we need? How many NOT FUNNY sitcoms must we be tortured with? How many REALITY shows that are NOT REAL AND DEFINITELY NOT REALITY must we put up? thank God I got satellite (and cable before that) and have Discovery, Science, NHL Center Ice, and a few other off-the-wall nerdy channels (Current and Link are two pretty cool channels I never knew about until we got DirecTV) don't mean to burn your bubble FZ heh I just hate stupid television and how it rots your brain and definitely earns it's nickname of the "idiot box"
Guest FZ1 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Yeah, that's why I only watch a few shows. Sad. I have a $4000 tv that sits unused and off except for about 4 hours a week. Even worse, I have 2 other tv's that NEVER get turned on unless I have guests.
red930 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Lost is pretty well put together, at least it keeps you on your toes. Granted...it IS going downhill...but if she's actually leaving that'll be a big plus. I still say Scrubs is the only show worth watching every week. red930 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Once Lost became a facsimile of real life, I ceased viewing their content. It is a shame such a show has become so convoluted with network retorhic.
Angry_Games Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 sorta like Battlestar Galactica first season was ultra nerdy but momma and I thoroughly enjoyed it then the second season bogged down with real-life political overtones and I think "man i can watch CNN or the ultra effing crazies at Fox News Fair And Balanced if I want that crap" at least Science Channel is teachy and not preachy haha
red930 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I can say that I watch Lost time-shifted so I can skip the commercials. Besides the story there is that incredible Hawaiian scenery that looks perfect in HD. If it was only on standard TV I might not watch it at all.
