yes i did install it. It seems like it screwing everything up. I find my machine has less errors when its off but still has problems. How do i remove it?

go to add/remove programs and scroll down to "Nvidia drivers." click "change/remove" and you'll see 3 options. click the third and it will let you choose individual nvidia drivers to uninstall. Choose the firewall and hit OK.

i THINK the firewall should be listed there. (i dont know because i've known not to install it... so im guessing here! lol..)

try that and let me know if it's there.

ANyone think partitioning a raid would do any of this. I did it during the install and now wish i didnt do it and im wondering if its part of th problem.

DOH! i knew it was somewhere... thanks for the headsup and ill be sure to remember where nvidia hides that in the future.

now, i'd hate to say it, but with that many corruptions and install problems, i really would go for the total windows re-install just for peace-of-mind and stability down the road...

think positive: installs always go faster the second time around when you know the settings and the process! just dont rush it! and make sure you click "NO" when nvidia goes to install that nasty firewall #%$@! lol..

GL!
