alom Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 No one know the reason?
ComeUpon Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Don't know the reason, but that is a common bug with CPU-Z--Well, looks like it was. In case you were wondering, yours is the Toledo core.

alom Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 As i know, maybe i am wrong, Toledo's L2 should be 1M, Manchester's L2 should be 512K. I feel confuse again!
syar2003 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 The Toledo has a bigger core caused by twice the cache memory of the Manchester core. The extra cache is halved , so it is the same size as the Manchester. So maybe 1.31 just "guessed" wrong based on the 2*512kb L2 cache . ComeUpon Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 The new revisions of the 3800+ (E6) are Toledo cores, however, AMD has locked half of the L2 cache, so you're still only getting 512KB. Here is a link that will show you the same CPU-Z error you see above.
SeanDude05 Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 It is a bug in the software. (1.31) in 1.32, you see the correct readout. In older versions it would read Opterons as socket 940 as well as other bugs.
