BlueOval Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I've been wanting to pick up an older AIW card for a while now so that I can watch TV on my PC; but I've heard that you shouldn't mix ATI and nVidia cards together in the same PC due to driver conflicts.. Is this true? I found this cheap card at the egg for 41 bucks. Could I use this card? Would this be all I need (besides cable TV of course)? Anyone have any recommendations? red930 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I haven't had a single problem mixing an ATI TV Wonder (various revisions) with nVidia graphics adaptors. The Leadtek will work just fine. I say this because of practical experience.

Trevor Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I'm having fun with my ati hdtv wonder along with my 7800gt, and the new 9.13 MMC made some good improvements like combineing the analog tv program with the dtv so now if you want to watch an anolog channel you don't have to go to another program. Most anolog channels have a digital version of them anyway and are much better quality.
