top_cat78 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Im using a memory divider to keep my ram at 200mhz.. currently my settings are: 260*9=2340mhz and memory divider is set at 150mhz so that effective DRAM freq is 190mhz. but my post screen shows that the ram is running at ddr300 instead of ddr400. is this normal?? silentlisten Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 POST only shows the set speed of your mem in relation to the stock FSB (200) Because you have a divider of 150Mhz you get DDR300 at POST If you run a program like cpuz in Windows then this will show your true mem speed.
