did you check the Overclocking Database?

Yes indeed but did not find my combination (opty 170/expert/gx xtc). I read also here that you were very confortable working with the GX xtc sticks, kind of help me deciding on buying them. I the database you have them at 250 mhz, i'm looking at 255-258 and those settings did not work for the desire speed.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks but I see that you have a different board and the settings use on a non expert boards morelikely will not work on an expert as Angry have mentioned on another thread.

well you will have to read the Overclocking Guide that is stuck to the top of this section, and then begin fooling with your setup.

There's no person here that will just be able to give you numbers and you can get some overclock you are looking for.

the OC Guide is there to teach you about the DFI Lanparty BIOS as well as how to use it for overclocking Athlon64/Sempron cpu's...you have to read, study, and try it for yourself.

I've always maintained that a good overclock takes anywhere from 2 week to 2 months to achieve.

Jumping right up to 250 is usually pretty simple, but when you want to go beyond that, then your time starts to get eaten up with testing testing testing testing testing testing testing testing testing
