THE OCZ POWERSTREAM 520W HAS PROVEN TO BE THE BEST ALL ROUND PSU FOR DFI N4 MOBOS! No, stick with one of these. The OCZ PSUs have a pretty sheen to them that a lot of people like. I believe they may even have some lights--if you're into that. Personally, since you're gonna have a power hungry system anyways, I'd get the OCZ 600 watt or the PC P&C. Thanks, Yeah I like the 600watt a lot. I dont really care if the supply has like UV reactive cables and stuff like that, but I am very big on sleeved cables, which the PSU has. Thanks for the link! dIAMONDback Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Votes for a OCZ 600ADJ SLI.... I tried a OCZ 520 ADJ SLI and was happy but there was something amiss...could not o/c video card thru ATI overdrive...so went to a OCZ600 and boom!!! she runs like a dream... Some problems with systems with dual cards has to come from their thirst for power... underestimating consistent power requirements is a killer... oh by the way a Antec NEO 480W (first psu) was good but....could not o/c cpu & had same vid problem.... RGone Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 You guys that do NOT have an Expert board might resist the temptation to offer a power supply suggestion since you may err. Standard, previous versions of DFI NF4 Ultra-D/SLi-D/SLi-DR are not the same 'animal' as the 'expert' as relates to power requirements. This can be evidenced in the forum right here where 'expert' and cold-booty symptoms are discussed. Some 600Watt powertreams have worked and for others they faced sad dismay. Be freeken careful right now to recommend any power supply for "expert'' as iffyness is a reality. There is a post or two over in the 'recommendations hotdeals' forum section where this actually should be > where I posted two power supplies that have worked for me on an 'expert' that truly has "I don't want to bootup the first time cold" symptoms.
