Newbie question:

How do you change the appearance of the taskbar like that and where can I get one of those cool "gauges" for cpu temp and stuff?

yo man you can edit the registry or do it the easy way and get some software to do it...Im using windowblinds ... as for the temp gauges thats Motherboard Monitor 5 ..

I like the bush one.... :P Im against bush bashering but
I'm not like some hardcore republican or anything.... I dont
think we should have political parties, or at least I think there
shouldnt be 2 in which are the majority and control
all of our politics....
that being said, I look forward to seeing these threads every few
weeks... heh

if you look at ireland and other countries with several 3-5 "majority" parites, and none of them have anything close to a majority, then nothing gets done, because no one has control. anyway enough of that

I have a few desktops i use(d) that i created myself, or probably more appropriately, edited/merged/etc. Unfortunately i'm still waiting to get my bios chip back, so i can't post 'em yet :(

Im suppose to get my board back tommorow from asus(at least thats what ups tells me) and ill be sure first thing i do is post a kick booty pic of my desktop that ive havent seen for over a month.... arg!!

Man, i hear ya. I've been without my comp for 2 weeks now, and it's killin me. I feel your pain. heh.

btw, i haven't received any notification that they've received my chip or not, so i have no idea when i'll get it back. I just went and updated my problem on their helpdesk asking them to let me know if they got it and when i can expect it. Hopefully they'll reply.

got a little bored and i was messing with my boot.ini and ntoskrnl.exe files to change my boot up screen, im probably going to change it again, but heres my new boot screen ( and yes i know its win2k, but like i said, i was bored :P )
