plUmber Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Hi folks My system runs at 295Fsb with divider 133. So the ram is underclocked. When I try to set it to 140, that woukd be a slight overclocking to 207Mhz, the system will not boot?! Any suggestions?Ram is at 2.6V.Standard timings 2-3-3-6. thx
CPDMF Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Try giving a little more voltage. IIRC it will require 2.75 to make that memory happy. You also may have a divider that's funky as well. Don't know about the NF4's but some NF3's have a problem with E6 CPU's and the 140 divider. The 140 will actually boot up as 1:1.. Worth checking into by lowering your FSB to 200 and running memtest to see what the mem speed is.
