Vamp, are you asking because you're running out of floppy molex's? If one is plugged into your X-Fi card remove it. You only need a molex into the Bay Drive that came with X-Fi. The power connector on the X-Fi card itself, is used to power the breakout box that comes with the X-Fi elite.

cmay119 i`m asking because i don`t know if it`s needed, i`ve got a free floppy cable and molex. I read somewhere may be in anothere forum or thead that u need both cable only with dual card solution...

Also i read somewhere that with single card is still better to use both plugged. so i`m asking :)

Tnx

Yes, you need it. The motherboard draws power out of all the connectors. If one is missing, it must draw more from one of the others (not good).
