kschaffner Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 i think i might pick up this vga cooler for it instead VANTEC CCB-A1C Ball VGA Cooler Kit - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/CustratingRe...N82E16835110103
kschaffner Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 i bought the one you recommended just now and if the temps are a lot lower then i will stick with that instead. if not i will pick up the vantec as well and then use the better of the
kschaffner Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 as concerned as i am about this i have to stop the prime 95 test just hit 65c and im not going to kill my mobo
ludeboy12 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 dont worry you wont need the vantec.....people only buy that one for the name. If you actually compare the specs though you will see the vantec only has a crappy 3.5cfm fan where as the evercool is 7.79cfm. Slammin Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 You probably need better case airflow too.
kschaffner Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 right now i have a cooler master centurion 2x80mm intake on side 1x80mm intake in front and 1x120exhaust in back
Smoken Joe Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 The stock heatsink fan is pretty high quality poor case temps and air flow will resut in high chipset temps.
