adam.s Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Is it necessary to have the SLI bridge. Just found out that the piece of s*** store where I bought my motherboard didn't include/removed the SLI bridge from my box and they're being extremely unresponsive about it. If so, where can I order a new one?

foxbat1126 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Here is link which you could check out http://ncix.com. It is based in Vancouver and would be convenient for you. Just search for "Sli Bridge" when you get to their site. I have been running "bridgeless sli" for a week before I got my sli bridge and my scores were, 3dmark03- 12,880; 3dmark05 - 6396 ; 3dmark06 - 2,662. When I got my bridge my scores were, 14,793; 6679; and 2723 respectively. Not much difference.
red930 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 There seems to be a rather consistent 10% to 12% decrease when running without the bridge.
Torch Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 When you use very high resolutions the decrease is minimal, about 3%
