Recommended Posts

I flash the bios to 704bta beta bios all gos ok. I hti F1 as promted then when it boots up again at the end of it i get this. Same gos for if i flash bios to 623-3.

CMOS checksum error-Default loaded

What gives?

I'm i doing something to cause this?

Also i should ask is this message i get normal?

Here is the exact Ram i am using could this be the reason as to why i cant boot with both sticks and the issue with the flashing.?

No i can get into bios but when i flash bios using the Tmod 6.5 CD it gives me that error.

Did you clear the CMOS after flashing?

Did you enter the bios after clearing the CMOS and select load optimized defaults?

Did you then re-enter the bios setup and set it up like you want it?

Tmod

1. Why would i clear the CMOS after flashing?

2.Well i could not get the pc to boot for some reason so i did in fact clear the CMOS per this links instructions.. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...04&postcount=24

3.Yes i did.

4.The only thing i changed was the boot devices..CDrom 1, HD 2 & Floppy 3 so that i could load the Tmod 6.5 CD.
