Question about smart guardian

Recommended Posts

In smart guardian when you click the options button. There is a voltage tab. All the voltages are enabled and there are various percentages to the left of them. what do they do?

THat is the percentage your voltage is allowed to fluctuate.. when your voltage exceeds or decreases that percentage it will show it as red..! you can try it yourself.. reduce the percentage and see those digits turn red!

change vcore and vdimm from windows? you mean actually changing the voltages....I dont think you can do that in windows,..I know Asus and Gigabyte have fancy utilitieslike precisontweaker and MIT or something where you can do that in windows.. but in DFI you have to do everything in BIOS.. the way its meant to be done...!

I'm not sure if you can do that with ntune, but it is highly, strongly recommend that you do not install it.. so I guess you will have to do it in bios..
