Guest Shadowfactor Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I have the system in sig , The CHip is a 165 CCBWE 0546SPMW My psu is OCz Modstream 520 Watt. So far I have been able to reach 289 HTT with a vcore of 1.450. I've run Si Sandra Burn-in test for 12 hours , no problems I'm trying for something higher , like I tryed 300 HTT , it requires a vcore of 1.50 ton get into windows and like it's not very stable. So I bumped it up to 1.525 and it's still no stable. 1.55 it's stable , I guess I really haven't tested it. I'd like 311 ( 2.8 Ghz) or higher and stable. any idea's to make this happen. I've tired 2.8 ( 311 HTT) with 1.55 Vcore and it barley gets into windows , it did it once , just long enough to get a SS then restarted. I'd like 2.8 ghz or higher Stable. Any idea's how to get there.. I know Im going to need better cooling, Right now I'm on the stock cooling( As-5)with temps at like 37-38 Idle. I'm trying to get enough money to get a Xp-90 or xp-120. Thanks!!!
BroHam Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Hey if you don't mind would you list all of your Genie settings? I haven't played around with much over 250, couldn't get it stable over that...but I haven't really tried because my temps are just too hot right now on my crappy Thermatake TR2TT A4014 TR2 M14 SE cooler(42idle 50-55 load). My specs are just about the same as yours so hopefully when I get my XP-90 in a couple days I'll have something to work with if I go with some of your settings. Woah just noticed you live in UA...I'm close to Easton
THunDA Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Shadowfactor.. Have you read the OC guide ? When your testing are you running a divider to eliminate your ram as a problem for now ?

Voltes-5 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Shadowfactor, I had a 165 0546 and got it as far as 315 x 9 = 2835 but with a vcore of 1.66. Killed it through my own error, replaced with a 0551 and so far currently running 305 x 9 @ 1.66, lower than my 0546 but not by much. Say please and I'll sell you my XP120 fro a pittance. Jahz Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I was able to boot fine with a 165 @ 2700 (300x9) at only 1.45vcore... Havent done stability yet bc I have faulty RAM, but it ran for a while at that voltage...
