Hey, I'm trying to setup a raid 0 configuration. However, I have two diamondmax 10's 250 gb but one is 6B250 and the other is 6L250. I was wondering if it would still work or is there any sort of firmware update that could resolve this?

Thanks

You shouldn't have any problems with a slight change in model numbers. Big considerations are that the hd's are from the same manufacturer, have the same capacity, same rotational speed, same interface speed and same cache.

Thanks alot for the info guys. It worked perfectly. However I seemed to have made a very dumb mistake and accidently quick formatted my storage drive. I'm hoping I can recover some of the data. Got any program suggestions?

Pretty much any recoverprogram will work, the problem is that atleast I haven't found anything thats free. Most of them have a free trial that lets you recover files under 10 kb or something like that. Not that useful...

There is however a utility called unformat which you could try.

This site seems to have everything you need:

Otherwise google will ;)

edit: ah of course that will probably only work with FAT formatted drives. Don't know if theres a similar utilty for NTFS or whatever you have formatted.
