Rgone, Bulldog, AG> any chance that you can pass on the data collected here in this thread to the engineers? Have they atleast been made aware of the data? Is there anything missing from the data fields that may help them?

Please do not respond with "Email them yourself."

thanks ahead of time!

What choice did you make in the poll above? Accurate.

Motherboard: NF4 Ultra D

Mobo Revision: ???

Mobo BIOS version: 2005/06/23

CPU: A64 3000+ Venice @ stock

CPU ID: ????

Idle Temp: 28-30ºC

Load Temp: Less than 42ºC

Cooling: Air XP90 + Titto Fan 40 CFM

I touch the HSF and it seems to be at the same temp than what my BIOS-Speedfan tells me.

What choice did you make in the poll above? I believe mine is less then 10C low.

Motherboard: SLI-DR Expert

Mobo Revision: ???

Mobo BIOS version: 12/7 Official

CPU: 4400+ Toledo @ 2.4Ghz

CPU ID: dunno, didn't check

Idle Temp: 28C

Load Temp: 34C

Cooling: Air

I'm thinking mine is reporting ~7 - 8C low. Perhaps as much as 10C, but I don't think it's more then that. System is stable though.

By the math calculations my CPU temps seem to be pretty accurate, but I just got the Enermax UC-A8FATR4 4-channel fan controller. I haven't installed it yet. It has 4 temp probes for me to use, so I'll see just how accurate the CPU temps are once I get it installed....

Hey, palehorse - just a positive feedback on staying on the issue so persistently! When I look at other issues that are being just as persistently ignored by manufacturers (such as the Nvidia NIC issue), I must say you are doing a great job staying on top of this issue!

Keep it up and don't give up!!!
