Q-Ball Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 I am also wondering the same. Is there a modded bios for the DFI UT SLI-DR Expert? If so, what are the benefits? Or stick to the retail version? I currently have the 07/12 as well.

palehorse Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 there is an older modded Bios on Tmod's CD, 704-2BT I believe. But more importantly, WHY are you looking for a different bios? are you having any specific problems with the 12/7 official bios? kiwi Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I have, TCCD problem. Me and a lot of users with certain type of TCCD memory. It is a known problem. That is why many people sold tccd and bought BH5 type instead Also there is a new DFI board Venus coming that is supposed to work well with both types of RAM. 4Qman Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 It is a known problem. Great buy the Expert now need to get the Venus. Well ive had 3 sets of TCCD ram pass thro my hands, OCZ,Gskill and Corsair and they were all a bugger to get stable on the Expert. My Mushkin UTT can hit 260Mhz with half the time to get the TCCD even lose stable. Well i hope there is a bios to solve the TCCD issue soon.
