fartonmyear Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 i removed the ihs on a 3200+ and a 3700+ today took like a minute each. wonderful. i put expoxied the ihs back on though. compared to 31ish i was getting with the 3200+ with the original ihs on, the 3700 with the reapplied ihs is 2ish degrees hotter. maybe i just have to wait for the as5 to settle. gotamd Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 STICKY THREADS ARE YOUR FRIEND please read them as much as possible... As long as I still have the file sitting around and am able to, I'm happy to seed whenever someone wants. I should be able to seed the file until around June. General Septem Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I just used your technique the other night to cut a bagel in half. First thing you wanna do, is grasp your bagel firmly, by mainly the bottom half. Most bagels have a hole in the middle of them. I would say thats good if you want to improve the contact between the IHS and core but you are afraid of mounting your cooler on the bare core..
