Nah, it's sped up a little bit (and I can't figure out how to email you...says you've disabled that feature). I'm about 30% done now as is and downloading (and uploading :) ) at a decent clip. As long as I can get the rest of the file through BT it'll be fine.

i almost broke into a sweat when i worked up the nerve to take mine off. something about 500 dollars hanging in the balance that could do that to you i guess.

i busted 2 of those ceramic resistors off the top of a 4400+ somehow (I don't think I did it while removing the spreader, but by tightening a heatsink down too hard on it maybe) but didn't know they were busted until I removed the heatspreader

 

after removing the heatspreader and getting the bits of ceramic removed that were busted, the cpu actually works pretty well again now lol

 

go figure
