-CsA-TAZ Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB) CAS2 Dual Channel Kit (F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX) (MY-007-GS) Are you using this Memory? Im looking to change my Ballistix 4 X 512 for 2 X1024 sticks of ram and was wondering if any other forum users are using this ram and what you think of it, these are on sale for £150 and seem like a good buy, better value than the ballistix @ £110 cheaper plus 2.3.2.5 timings not 3.4.4.10 or whatever it is now! I dont OC as a rule, but when and if i do its no more than 10% so 2.4 to 2.6 is all i would do all thou it has run stable @ 2.750 but i have to increase cpu volts for that and i dont like doing that! but thx anyways! Bull Dog Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Don't expect miracles overclocking with it though... No, but I got lucky with mine. 250mhz 2.69v 2.5-3-3-8 is memtest stable (3 passes stable anyhow). Once my new Enermax comes I'm aiming to take my processor to 2.5ghz which from previous experience it'll do that at 1.41v. I may try for 2.6ghz IF I don't have to exceed 1.46v But I have my doubts. So don't expect a miracles when overclocking, but one can hope.
