drka0tic Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 That CPU test is crazy!!! Does anyone get any higher than 0 fps? I'm reading that all the dual-core guys will have the upper hand on this one. Here's my 1st run: It is definately time to start OC'ing this mutha. Sorrento Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 1156 cpu score is exactly what a single core gets... I got 1143 with my 3700+ @ 2.9 ghz. An X2 will score something around 2000+ pts.
Cythrawl Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Ok... heres the 3dmark scores fo those who care....: 3DMark 2003: 14043 3DMark 2005: 7270 3DMark 2006: 4180 All are @ the same resolution (1024x768) with no AA and everything else turned on.. and all run on registered versions so full amount of tests are preformed On the Basic version the same tests got me 3500 marks without the other stuff enabled. Meh... 3DMark 2006 now runs like 3DMark 2005 did on my 6600GT except its now on a 7800GT...

FYI: 3dMark2006 runs at 1280 x 1024 Also the CPU tests are in the middle of the 3D ones, so hitting ESC to stop the test is not posible now. This and the higher resolution is whats causing the horrors we all experience; the test has more textures, like faces and colours... but thats nothing compared to runing it at 1280 x 1024; I wonder how would the 3dMark05 score would be at 1280 x 1024
Lando95 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 With the rig in my sig, and the video card at 571/1140, I score a whopping 1851!
red930 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Well, I hit 5459 while my graphics card is only moderately overclocked, I don't think I'll run it again. The CPU test actually hit 2 fps for a couple instances, 2015 for a score and I'm running at 2600 right now. http://img357.imageshack.us/my.php?image=3...06zoomed7uv.jpg Maybe I'll give it another go and see if 6k is possible...*sigh*. I hate things. Edit: best I ever did with this rig in 3dmark05 was around 10,600 for a comparison.
