yzrider088 Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I am looking to buy some new ram, upgrading from 1GB (2x512). I am looking at 2GB (2x1GB) OCZ and Corsair. I have the DFI NF4 Expert board and I was wondering the best ram to use on this. OCZ PC3200 (2x1GB) OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K 2-3-2-5 timing @ 2.6V Corsair XMS PC3200 (2x1GB) Twinx2048-3200c2pt 2-3-3-6 timing @ 2.75V These are roughly $200 on newegg, and I was wondering which is the best to get for my board. I do not want to spend much more than $200, but is it worth it to get more than PC3200 for 4400+ on this board? Thanks
lowboy Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 For the price gskill xtreme pc4000 at 197. 00 members have good luck and those OCZ don't clock well and boards sometimes have problems with Corsair.
