Guest maz Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I have the san diego overclocked to 2860 with fsb at 260. My idle temps for CPU is about 38, and under load about 49-50 C. madu Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 hey maz... My cpu is around 28, PWMIC 34 and chipset at 46c when idle. In load I cpu hits around 38c, and other two comes around 43c.. madu Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 AS5 works wonders..! I used to hit 51c with prime running with the room at about 24c. Thats when I took off the stock cooling and put the blue orb with AS5 and the temps went down more than 10c. Before that i got reboots while playing HL2 or doom3. Now I never go more than 40c. Yeah its the winter here..lol... I havent used this rig in summer yet.. might need to change the HSF then.. Anyways a good HSF can bring down the temps a lot!
