Cpu Temp

I have the san diego overclocked to 2860 with fsb at 260.

My idle temps for CPU is about 38, and under load about 49-50 C.

Is that a reasonable temp? I have zelman 7700cu running.

Thanks.

Wow, I'm definitly running hot then compared to you. Anychance you remember the numbers when your room wasn't so cold?

Eitherway, I'm gonna reaply the arctic silver, I think I might have put too thick a layer last time...

Thanks for your info.

AS5 works wonders..!

I used to hit 51c with prime running with the room at about 24c. Thats when I took off the stock cooling and put the blue orb with AS5 and the temps went down more than 10c.

Before that i got reboots while playing HL2 or doom3. Now I never go more than 40c.

Yeah its the winter here..lol... I havent used this rig in summer yet.. might need to change the HSF then.. Anyways a good HSF can bring down the temps a lot!

The problem is that I already used AC5, plus I'm using the big bad boy zalma 7700 CU. Well, I'll remove the AC5 and reaply, maybe my original application was too thick...
