LookitsPuck Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Hey! I had to install one of my chips of RAM into the space above because Windows was bugging out and blue screening when trying to dual channel the RAM. So just to use the RAM until I get money to buy more accepted RAM to run in dual channel I'm running in single channel mode. Is there a way to keep that warning message from showing up when the system starts? Maybe something in the BIOS? Thanks
RGone Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Put it in the ORANGE slot not the Yellow one. RGone...
LookitsPuck Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Already have one in the orange (2) and one in the yellow (1). If I put the other in the orange, it blue screens. It's bitching when in dual channel mode. I need to run in single channel, but want to have that message go away on startup. Is there a BIOS setting for it?
