EdLSmith Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I can't tell which mem you have. Problem could be Vdimm or Dram timings. I wouldn't be using that PSU, but then I'm not am I.

boatasiaus Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Download a64Tweaker here. Record the mem settings shown. Enter BIOS. Manually input the settings (changing from auto)
lowboy Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 What difference is smoothness if the 12v rail is12-14A under specs. Why spend such money on quality components and put a underpowered psu in there. The psu is heart of system and your running very nice 4400 and sli gfx with a $40.00 psu. When the mobo mfg. and Nvidia say it is not enough power to run your rig. Oh well everybody has the right to do as they please. radhaz Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 ok if it is the power supply thats causing all of my problems why hould i get a higher psu when most systems never draw more then about 300w under full load.... my psu info
Lesaonar Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Amps and watts are not the same thing, that is what lowboy was referring to. Minimum recommended PSU is 480w. TT 420 lacks major amperage, especially for an expert board and the rest of your hardware.
