honorelsu Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 I have had this problem since day one and I would love to correct this. It is an annoyance for me when I have to restart my computer and it takes so long. The hard drive delay is 1 and the dfi logo is disabled. Anyone have this problem? lowboy Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 How many bootables are enabled if no fdd you can disable in bios the more boot devices enabled the longer the boot time.
Guest thespin Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Also your IDE HD should be set as 'master' (jumper) and be in the master position on the IDE cable which should be in IDE connector 1. If your Benq is on the same IDE cable it should be set as 'slave'. If it's on a second IDE cable by itself, it should also be set as 'master' on IDE connector 2.
