wdogg Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hello, I have a DFI NF4 Ultra D mobo and am using OCZ DDR 400 Dual channel memory... I have a question about the memory configurations in the bios. This memory has a CAS Lat of 2 and a timing of 2325 with the volt at 2.6. Should I manually set these in the bios or just go with the auto. If I need to manually set these could you tell me what to set. I am not trying to Overclock, I just want it setup at what its supposed to be at. Below is a link to the ram just in case. Sharp Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hello, Take another look at the memory you have and the link you have linked to. Platinum REV2 2-2-2-5 does not come in 2x1GB.

Sharp Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo...hannel_platinum I know , just wanted to see if you spotted your mistake. Anyway, the timings of 2-3-2-5 should be automatically detect by the bios. Or ask AndyOCZ or RyderOCZ for some settings. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/member.php?u=323 http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/member.php?u=3834
wdogg Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Thanks for the help... I am new to this so, do you think I should go through my bios and set up with the specs you have given? I just want it set at what it should be at. Thanks again!
DeWitt Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Why not just download CPU-z and run it? It'll tell you what you memory is running at so you won't have to change it if you don't need to.
