Grunt_Style Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 i cant register for the life of me. and im wondering if mabee im not reading the instructions properly. every time i submit the info the screen resets and indicates i need a proper password: A valid password consists of 6 to 8 digits with a combination of letters and numbers plus at least one special character. ive USed 6-8 diget passwords including the following: !@#456ab !@#456_b #1danzig ive spent the last 30 min thinking of different combinations, but am i not reading the instructions correctly? "A valid password consists of 6 to 8 digits with a combination of letters and numbers plus at least one special character." sounds simple enough to me. do they have a lilne that i can call for live technical support? all i can get is a usless automated line that refers me to theyre website...wich in turn sends me right back to the automated line. this really sux because i got a dead 4400 chip id like to see if i might be able to get replaced. Grunt_Style Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 didnt work. it wont let you enter any more than 8 characters. so that answers that. its a max of 8 total.
MoJo Risin' Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Not sure, but some secure sites won't/can't recognize you if your browser settings or other security programs are set too high. Usually it's just your cookies setting and they send an error message stating such when you try to submit something or sign on. They could also be experiencing problems with their site. Don't know a number offhand, but Google can help I'm sure if someone here doesn't know.
