RichGUk Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hello people on the board, I know you get lots of these and yes it's a very beginners thing to do but what harm will it do? Just checking all this should work together and is ok: BFG GeForce 7800 GT OC 256MB G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2 x 1GB) AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D Using my current SATA drive. KimTjik Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 In "BIOS factory" you have a handsome CD flash option, Tmod's. He has included a whole lot of different official and beta-versions so you should be able to find what suits your system best: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22031
Smoken Joe Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 What PSU?!That is vital. If the CD does not work just steal a floppy out of an old drive.
RichGUk Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Gonna use the 500watt one that comes with my Raidmax Ninja case..
Smoken Joe Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Gonna use the 500watt one that comes with my Raidmax Ninja case.. Good luck the 450 has about half the amps needed on the 12 volt rail. Very few people have had any luck with any psu included with a case with PSU's included with cases except some of the enermax and a few of the Antec ones though usually the antec ones are underppowered too. See the recomendations section and the psu STICKIE.
madu Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 It is strongly adviced t hat you use a good psu.. amd's need more amps and they want it clean.. you should not take a risk with a psu that comes with the case.. i think u should have atleast 18A on the 12v rail.. think abgain before you plug that psu in th case..
