madian225 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hi In answer to your question, it should do !! I have just built mine and had a few fun and games with some RAID drivers but as I see you are using a single drive then that should not be a problem for you. It should load windows without a problem. I would load optimised defaults as well before you load windows and you should be good to go. I see that you are using the FX-60 chip in which case I would recommend doing a BIOS flash to the latest 7/12 BIOS off fo the DFI web site as I think it has the update for the FX-60 chip. I would do this, format Hard Drive using WD Date Lifeguard (V 5.04C or leter version) FULL format, Flash to lates BIOS and clear CMOS accordingly, enter BIOS, update time date etc, load optimised defaults then load windows. You should be fine after that.
Evancold Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 More than likely you will need to tweak the ram timings and other misc stuff in order to get it stable. This board was made for tweaking. Good Luck
