rageagtm Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Hope this is ok in this section of the forum. Basically I finally got my system up and running and now am looking to find a way to move an exact copy (os and all settings/files) from my temporary hardrive to its replacement. I had to purchase a 36gb raptor drive as I am tired of waiting for ups =) In the end I would like to have a 74gb raptor for all programs etc., and then storage will all be on my new seagate 250gb. I had a buddy hook me up on getting the os installed perfect so all is running now, but don't want to redo it all when they new primary drive comes. Any ideas? Thanks, R

retired-one Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 is that good for any HDD? or just WD? As stated you need one WD but Seagate/ Hitachi and most of the others have software downloads that do the same thing.... just go to the support page for the respective manufacturer.
