NINaudio Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Gah.....I'm getting really frustrated with this setup. I cannot get Prime95 to run for more than a few minutes at stock levels. My vcore is even at 1.425v and prime95 still craps out on both cores within minutes. I've gone as high as 1.5v but even then I get maybe 9 minutes before they both stop. Ram is known working from previous build, would run 250 @ 2.5-3-3-10 on MSI K8N Neo2 Plat. forever; processor, mobo, and vid card are the only new items in this build. Windows XP SP2 is fully updated, dual core patch is installed from AMD, and the mshotfix installed also. I've got my memory running with "safe" timings. Everything is set to AG's timings listed in the stock speed database for my ram or even lower. I've memtested for over 4 hours on all tests with no errors, looped test 5 with no errors in 75 runs. Superpi 32M passes. But still not Prime95 for more than a few minutes at best.... Will screenshots of my bios settings help at all? Need more info, if so what? Tell me what I can do to better my chances of getting some help, please! EDIT: Advised by corsair ramguy to reset bios to defaults and run it at 2-2-2-5 timings with 2.7v to start from. Memtested for 4 hours, no problems. Prime95 stable for 10 hours and counting as of 1/20/
