Custompccases Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Don't worry, I got it fixed but thought I should share for others. After trying 250fsb I got screen corruption and it refused to boot. After restarting it no longer saw my 2 sata drives. I did a manual detection with no luck, windows disk management didn't see them either (I checked to see if I managed to corrupt the disks or something). They were originally on ports 1 and 2, I switched to 3 and 4 with no change. I then cleared the cmos, twice, still nothing. I ended up having to disconnect the drives completely and did 2 restarts, reconnected and everything is running fine. I have no idea how ocing can screw with the sata controller, since the pci freq should be locked, but hey at least it is fixable.
