Oceanborn Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Hey guys, strange thing happened, hopefully I'm doing something wrong, I changed the memory voltage jumper on the motherboard to the 5V position so I could have access up to 4V selection in the BIOS, however when I go into the DRAM voltage selection NOTHING changed!!! I still can only select up till 3.2V !!! Did I forget something? is there a place hidden in the BIOS that I can see the 4V selection? Please help... mihapodb Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 you have to set some voltage for CPU, if you have set to auto you acces only up to 3,2 V so set VCORE and then save & exit and go in bios again and you will go up to 4V
KimTjik Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 What mihapodb wrote is true. I just want to clearity one thing: you set "CPU VID control" to something else than auto, after that save&exit. Then you ought to shutdown the computer and unplug the power cord, and after that it's time to move the jumper. In case you aren't sure of the procedure this could be helpful.
