noahsark1126 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 When I first got this 7800GT (which comes factiry OC'ed to 450/1050) the auto overclocking utility got it to 498/1140. I then upgraded drivers and i only got 492/1130. Now I have upgraded again (to 81.98) and I only get 488/1120. Now, the 488 seems like a good OC for the GPU, but the 1120 seems like nothing. thats only 70 mhz, and most people get past 1200. Is there something I can do? Is it ok to OC past what the utility picks for me?
