floppy doesnt work

Recommended Posts

Check so you haven't by misstake installed the floppy connector upside down (or try it anyway even if you think you did it right - I'm not talking about the power connector). Even if installed upside down the system will recognize it, but the device won't work (proof of this is that the led on the floppy will be on constantly; when rightly connected it will just do that when you're using it).

is the floppy light shown on the front of the floppy drive? i dont see a light there

Yes, it's on the front panel of the floppy (I've never seen one without a led!). If you see no light at all, I wonder have you really installed the power connector?

Edit: oh, we work in dual channel now!
