I know that CPU temperature does not go over 50 °C when it crashes (when I play games) becouse I have ITE Smart Guardian set at 50 °C to alert me...

Could it be somethink alse that CPU?

Sorry for my English and thank you for your help.

EDIT: I have one more question...Should I make my Graphic card frequencys lower for black spots at time to time in CSS...becouse in other games (aka F.E.A.R., Day Of Defeat Source, Need for Speed Most Wanted,...) there are no black spots (overheating)...

I have tried 1.61 (CPU-Z) for CPU too.

So why are you so sure that the failure is caused by the CPU?

The system freezes so I suppose it's difficult to estimate the temperatures at that moment, but if you after some gaming quits what temperatures do you then get? Might the gx-card chipset get too hot?

Are you sure it's not the RAM which causes the crasch? Have you run them in memtest for a longer period of time?

Of course I'm just asking questions - not of much help - but it could be valuable if you gave us some more clues.

MemTest98+ and Prime95-->12h...errors free

3DMark05-->10 times..."errors" free (I run benchmark test 10 times one after another)

I am not sure that the CPU caused the failure. Now i have set ITE Smart Guardian set at 45 °C (for CPU) to alert me...but there was no alert.

LTD/FSB Frequency Ratio x 4.0 <---- set that to 3.0

You've a good eye for details! I didn't even recognize it... ok I'm busy calculating taxes at work so maybe I'll be forgiven?

Is that enoug Mhz? Only 825...

It might look that way, but actually since you have a NF4 board the calculation will be: 275x2x3 = 1650

You're previous setting was 2200 which is above the recommended 2000, which could result in instability.

Se "AMD overclocking guide" about how NF4 works:

http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20823

Edit: Ops! You've erased the question, but what the heck it's still true...

Tnx for the info...I read it but I see that I read it "bad"...bad like my Englih :D.

But still...If recomended is 2000 isn't 1650 too little? Can you tell me what is too little?

And again sorry for my English and thank you very much-->I love all DFI members :D.

No it's ok. As you can read in the guide 2000 means a wide open road, and 1650 is still not limiting CPU performance. You just choose what is closest but still not over 2000.

I hope Joop's good eye will be of help to you!

One more thing: read the rules because you have to fix yourself a signature. Ok?

Extreme or not, CPU:s behave differently. Decrease FSB 2mhz and next try... and so on until you find the spot where it works stabile.
