OCZ PC4000 EB PE 2gb Kit

Recommended Posts

In the process of overclocking this ram.

Can anybody suggest some timings for it?

ATM I have it at 275fsb 1:1 2.7v

Cannot seem to keep it stable above this, I have loosened the timings to 3.4.4.8, rest of timings on auto.

Any ideas?

Thank :)

What I read about it (and I have quite a bit because I have the same sticks) is that that's about the max OC you're gonna get from it. They're not ye olde flexible 512MB sticks you knew and loved.

check for gaming stability with these. A big issue with these Infineon chips is they will bench at higher speeds, but games will not be stable...

Are they Infineon chips? XS says they're something else.

(Actually I said that on XS, read it in a review)

Can you confirm they are Infineon? Strip your heatspreaders :)

Anyway, I hve no timings yet to show since my rig is still under construction.

Right now all the parts have collected at my home and as soon as I get back from vacation (7th of jan) I'll built it, and tey will come :)

I will post my stuff here once I'm done..

[face red] I gues it was me myself who said they were infineon... DUH!!

Anyway, my rigs running now and just passed 11 hours and 37 minutes of priming both cores of my 165 at 2610MHz (290x9).

I knew my mem would handle 261MHz, but on the MSI board it didn't go above that.

So with all this info and a pound of newly found good luck I will try to go beyond that final frontier and see what the mem can do... on stock bios first.

Still testing and when it fails I will be using all you guys's timings and I'll be back with the results shortly.
