Have you installed any hardware recently? Is a fresh install of windows possible? Was the system working fine before or is it a new build?

the only thing i can think of is that it may be this board doesnt like my memory....when it locks it almost as if it runs out of ram......but i ran mem test for an hour and no errors ....or....when i hade the old power supply and it was giving the board enough power it toke something out on the board

phantom, i just did a search for your ram and on Centon's website it shows it as being rated at Cas3. The Infinity and Landparty mobo's do not like ram at Cas3. It could be worth going into the bios and changing Cas from 3 to 2.5 and puting the vdimm up one step. If that dose'nt work can you borrow some faster ram to try? Also the bios you'r using is old, a flash to a more up to date bios would help. Good kuck and keep us informed.

Can you give a bit more info on your Centon RAM, as in part/model number(s) and etc.

Also, what slots are you using the sticks in (slot 1 closest to the CPU, 2 middle, 3 furthest

from the CPU)?

I agree with kitfit1, that RAM timings could be relating to what you've got going on. Also,

there could be other BIOS options which may need changing to alleviate what issue(s)

you're having.

You have a locked Barton CPU, eh? If so, then you may want to check the DDR

DRAM Clock option, and make sure that's set to 1:1.

Have you checked to see how hot the South Bridge (SB) heatsink is getting also? The SB

can often get hot on these mobos and either needs more cooling and/or might also need

some better material between the heatsink on it and the SB chip.
