Guest geronimo Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Hi! I was testing and benching the system in sig. Whe first tried to find the max stable mhz for my opteron. It went up to 2700 v 1.475v without any problem, prime and stable. then it went up to 2745 and i got error with 1.475 volt but worked fine with 1,5v. But after a while of prime I rebooted and then i won't start, no picture on the display no nothing. I've tried clearing the cmos but still nothing. Any thoughts? lowboy Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 How many led's showing and if that is the 480true blue PSU what about 24pin conn and other 3 connectors. That psu is under powered to be overclocking like that.
Guest geronimo Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I got it to post now with memory on furthest orange slot. I got a 20 to 24 pin converter. Theres a total of three connectors from the psu. The 24pin a small one 4pins i think and a molex.
danny5 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 20-24 converters are a no-no on DFI boards. You will have more problems in the future I'll bet.
lowboy Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 There are four connectors from psu 24pin,P4(sq4pin),4pin molex and fdd connector and a 20pin to 24 pin is not recommened,That psu doesn't have the power you need I know because I have one setting behind me that I had to replace for this mobo. Kawasaki 1 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Modular is where the cables can be unplugged from the power supply if not needed.
