PC1X1 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Hmnn some of my pics aren't showing up, Ill make a album tomorow, no one commented on the street sign, I am wondering did anyone notice I added alot of new stuff to page 1?! lol.... Good or bad comment is welcomed. Heres a mock up so you can get an idea, of what I was thinking, can be improved but dont think it looks half bad . I might put the flaming DFI mascot render I made to the title DFI-STREET. Here's Review Street UPDATE: FIXED SHOWCASE, go check it out in the first page, comon I had to pm people to comment, I know some of you saw it, but I need to know what you guys like and what you don't! Since I ask for comments here Ill provide mine: ooztuncer: Great work on the render, very smooth, you need to model the details, may I suggest map the bottom then extrude upwards. Like the skull in the back, if you can send that graphic to me please pm me for details. msmolt: For playing around it certainly is good, the shading on the orb is nice, and would make a cool button. Nice use of socket 754 . AceGoober: Simplicity is key, and your sig shows that, the flamer certainly is welcomed, and I had a simular idea, yours came out good, so I might just try the concept. I did toy with the idea, with the explosion on the A64 avatar, but didn't bother with the actual text. As far as commercial aesthetics its very nice. Although I personally I am prone to the more flashy graphics, I believe a hybrid between something I made, and more commercial simplicity of your work would be interesting, might wing it later . For those that don't understand, when I use the word simple its not the negative connotation, but the representation of depth through the use of limited means, IE content without the flash, I experimented with the flashy type graphics, dunno whats next. Perhaps a hybrid. That's it. Later. **REMEMBER LOOK AT PAGE 1, for Round 1: And those that know me, there will be certainly a round 2, I am going to try to take this once and for all . Cause I can put up some good stuff (been photoshoping for years and taken a year long class on it etc... lol so i really want to show my skillz), I just dont want to feel rushed. Reasons I say this, is 275x100 would be impossible to put a pole into, etc, I need better dimention of what is expected, especially so I don't make something that won't be useable again ,and waste time. J054 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 U kno that guitar is made as a lefty guitar. Id flip the end where the tuning screws are at the top of the guitar. Either that or make the bottom fin larger than the top instead of top larger than bottom. And the frets on that thing, what exactly is that? id make silver bars and have them stretch accross the full width of the fret board. On a side note if your looking for realism, make 24 frets. Thinking of making a realistic file cabinet, a couple side by side to represent the "database" and then mod them out and add like comp parts and stuff to them etc... so its like "overclocked" sound good?
